Where do you ship from?

Shipments originate from Ontario, Canada.

🇺🇸 USA: We ship Nationwide from New York via USPS with DDP (Delivery Duty Pre-Paid) shipping. Our products are currently Tariff Free under CUSMA (Canada/US/Mexico Free Trade Agreement). Meaning, the price you see at checkout is the price you pay, no duty/tax at delivery. If tariffs rules change in the future, we may have to use alternate DDU methods always aiming to provide you with the best customer experience we possibly can.

🌍 International: We ship DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) via PostNL (Netherland Post) or Canada Post and your local government mail for final delivery. If applicable, duties/taxes are determined by your local government and Duty Free (low value goods) allowance and may need to be paid to release the package to you (the importer). The product is Made In Canada, and thankfully, Canada has many Duty Free Trade Agreements around the world you may automatically qualify for. However, if applicable, not paying the Duty/Taxes/Fees within the required timeframe to customs or refusing to accept the package will signify that you are agreeing to abandon the package without a refund. This is because abandoned/refused packages are automatically destroyed by the carrier as they are not able to return to North America. While it would be ideal if we could offer returns for international orders like we currently do in the USA & Canada, unfortunately with the shipping costs, the complexities of cross-border imports/exports and the longer transit times for the products, international orders are final and non returnable. To provide a better international shopping experience, we do not use UPS/FedEx/DHL as they are known for charging higher fees to customers. Instead, we use local government mail for final delivery, although it is slower, it allows for lower customs charges.

🇨🇦 Canada: We ship from Ottawa using various carriers, avoiding Canada Post when possible during strikes. 

How long does it take to receive my order?

We usually ship every Monday (excluding Holidays or Pre-Order items) with a cutoff of 11:30am EST.

USA: Orders typically take ~4-8 business days from Mondays depending on location. The closer to New York the quicker it will be. You will receive tracking once shipped and delivery notification. Delivery time is estimated but not guaranteed.

International: Typically take ~7-21 business days from Mondays depending on location. Orders may or may not include tracking depending on availability. Delivery time is estimated but not guaranteed.

Canada: Typically take ~3-5 business days from Mondays depending on location. The closer to Ontario the quicker it will be. You will receive tracking once shipped and delivery notification. Delivery time is estimated but not guaranteed.

If your package is taking much longer, please contact us directly through our contact page so we can investigate. 

If you purchased a Back-order/Pre-order item (you would know during checkout), or added one to your order, everything will ship together once all items are ready. There is no estimated time for Backorder/Pre-orders, however, our goal is to get them to you as quickly as we can. We generally only accept Back-order/Pre-orders when fulfillment is not too far out of reach.


Which carrier do you use for shipping?

USPS, Canada Post, PostNL, Purolator, ICS or UPS. 


What do I do if my product arrives damaged?

Shipping accidents are rare but can happen, please contact us directly through our contact page and we will gladly help. 


What is your return policy?

Lost Shipment 

Depending on the shipping service selected at checkout, tracking will likely be included. For obvious reasons, we rely on the tracking confirmations provided by our carriers. If a shipment is redirected or lost in transit 3 days past the expected delivery date, please notify us through our contact page so we can investigate.

Incorrect Address

When you place your order, your order confirmation email will display the shipping address we were given. Please contact us through our contact page to let us know about any shipping address or email address mistakes you might have made before the shipment is sent and we will gladly help correct it. However, if we are given the wrong shipping address and the package has already shipped, please visit our return policy page for more info.

Shipment Marked as Delivered

Depending on the shipping service selected at checkout, tracking will likely be included. For obvious reasons, we rely on the tracking confirmations provided by our carriers. We are not responsible for stolen boxes marked as delivered. If the tracking confirms the package was delivered but you are unable to find it, we will certainly make sure to help get this resolved for you as quickly as possible, however, because the tracking has marked this package as delivered, we will need you to complete the following steps as they can only be completed by the recipient.

We ship with USPS which means the package is delivered with your regular mail (mailbox/community mailbox) by your regular Mailman and your local post office. They are the ones who have marked it as delivered and should know where it is.

Step 1: Make sure the address is correct, it was shipped to the address we were provided in your confirmation email.

Step 2: Please check with other members of the household to see if someone else accepted the package, and check any other locations that packages are typically left at your address.

Step 3: (Optionally) Ask your mailman if you happen to see them.

Step 4: (Required) Quickly and easily complete the Help Request form with USPS here: https://usps.my.site.com/emailus/s/package-inquiry (It needs to be completed by the recipient, and cannot be completed by us). Save the case number as proof of completion. USPS will forward the information to your local post office to start a search and contact you directly within 7 days. USPS is often very successful at finding missing packages. We understand it can be frustrating to have to do this, unfortunately because of mail fraud, this is the USPS procedure to find missing packages marked as delivered.

If after completing the USPS Help Request Form they don’t find your package, please provide us with the case number and we will gladly help further.
